Monkey Wrenchs are the BEST. Our fuel pump blew on the hottest day of this year....they did everything anyone could ask for and even took my husband, our pooch, and myself home. They kept in touch with my husband as to what needed to be done and why. Had our truck ready as soon as they possibly could and even washed it before we picked it up. They're people that I would give my house key to and not worry a bit. Ted, Mike and Danny, you're peaches!! Wendy too. I would recommend them to my Mom. Thanks so much for all you did for us.

No need to shop around for the best professional quality service, honorable workmanship and costs reflectively parallel with quality. My 12 year old 155k VW was cared for just like a new Mercedes. I am new to Brentwood and took a chance on Monkeywrench. It paid off. I have a car running better than when it was new!

Ever walk into a business and feel comfortable? I don't know about the rest of you but my car had the BEST of treatment and I did also. I won't take my car anywhere else from now on - honest; attentive; explained what was to be done - called to make sure that I would get what I needed when the parts came in. My AC did not work - kaput; nada; dead! So I asked someone where they would take their car - this is the place to come if you don't want to be ripped off! Michael,Ted and Danny who picked me up to take me back when the car was ready are very honest people. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

I took my BMW here after seeing good reviews to have a vacuum hose leak repaired and a possible transmission fluid leak repaired. I had already run a diagnostics test on the car and had a print out of the codes. They refused to accept the diagnostics check and wanted to run their own. The service advisor said they charge $169.99 to just run the diagnostics check. When I told him again that I already had that done and have a print out for him he refused to accept it and stated that they charge $169.99 for it. I told him I would take my car to a mechanic who will accept my diagnostics check and I took it to Bush Motor Works in Pittsburg. Sure enough the owner accepted the diagnostics check and did not charge me to do another one. A diagnostic check takes all of 5 minutes at the most and to charge $169.99 is pretty much a rip off. If a mechanic shop is willing to rip people off to run a five minute check imagine how much more they’re going to rip you off to do the repairs. I do not recommend this shop.

I took my daughter's VW there because the check engine light kept coming on. They did a complete diagnostic's check and let me know what the problem was and how much it was going to cost me upfront. They fixed the problem and the car is running very well. Todd and the guys at Monkey Wrenches were absolutely top notch. I would definitely recommend their service. Thanks guys.
